So I've already missed two days in my post daily goal. C'est la vie. This week has been a bit unproductive. I did get a client's project in on deadline yesterday and sorted some location photos for a director that I've been working with. But that's about it.
Bolinas is the quintissential Northern California coastal town. It's the point where the San Francisco Bay meets the Pacific Ocean and it's beautiful! It's a hippie enclave surrounded by water and beautiful views.
In the mid seventies, my family lived in Campinas, Brasil. Being an American kid in a foreign country I was very "rah, rah America" and worshiped all things American. During the summer of '76 we came back to the States to visit family and our trip coincided with the bicentennial. For me, it was like the entire country was celebrating and I was 100% in. For years, well into college, I saved every '76 quarter I found. That summer we visited my Aunt's and Uncle's house in farm country, Illinois. Their small town was super friendly and very close knit.
So I generally keep my personal drama off my Facebook, Twitter and this blog. This summer that is going to change and I'm going to share a bit more of my life - the good and the bad. My goal is to put myself out there.
