Another Wednesday, another spread from one of my books.

Moving On is a poignant video about life, love, and loss beautifully realized through the raveling and unraveling of yellow yarn.

I am in absolutely in love with Heather Evans Smith's dreamy, feminine, surrealist photographs. Like moments from a fairy tale I never read, they feel familiar and I find myself entwined in the imaginary worlds she creates in front of her camera.

Seventh Grade is a beautifully shot short film that's a coming of age story of a young black girl. It's a great film and reminded me of being that age. The age where sex and Barbies are both relevant.

I'm entranced by the images created by Seung-Hwan OH in his Impermanence series. Aptly named, he shoots medium format, positive film and then soaks them with a variety of microbes.

The talented duo of Kijek and Adamski must have gone through hundreds of blades cutting out the foam core pieces to create this mesmerizing stop-motion animation for ​Katachi by Shugo Tokumaru.

I am absolutely in love with these dress illustrations by Grace Ciao. She uses flower petals – and the occasional vegetable – to create her stunning creations.
