Dustin Yellin creates large figurative collages sandwiched in between layers of glass in his series Psychogeographies. I'm fascinated by the soft, pliable paper being pressed between the smooth, hard glass.

I'm in love with the psychedelic memes over at Feminist Lisa Frank. Frank's iconic rainbow colored designs paired with feminist quotes are a match made in heaven.

I adore the Playing House/Life Once Removed project by Suzanne Heintz. Posing herself with her mannequin nuclear family during holidays and vacations. Deliberately fabricated and over the top, the series strikes a perfect balance of humor and intelligence.

Word Camera promises to prove the adage that a picture is worth a thousand words. I fed the site this image from La Sonámbula.

Do Ho Suh is a brilliant conceptual artist working with large scale sculptural installations. His bio describes his works as "site-specific installations that question the boundaries of identity. His work explores the relation between individuality, collectivity, and anonymity." His work is intimate and personal while exploring modern concerns with privacy and sharing.

Chris Kindred created these sketchbook drawings of the Baltimore riots for The Nib and they are powerful indeed! The rawness of his style suits the rawness of emotion. Wide shots of the riots alternate with intimate portraits of participants.

OMG Literally Dead is a brilliant parody Instagram account mocking this alternate use of the word. The account documents the adventures of Skellie, a life size skeleton, who emulates common self portrait poses. Smart and clever, OMG Literally Dead pokes fun at the vanity selfie phenomenon.

Sara Cwynar creates colorful funky photographs re-mixing and creating unique explosions of kitsch, junk, and vintage imagery.
