Another random page from one of my sketchbooks.

I've had my Lomo FishEye camera for a while, but haven't been very good about adding it to my camera bag. I've been playing with it more lately after I found these shots taken at Fort Mason. I'm headed back there tomorrow for my first ever sailboat ride on the bay!

I'm Following Summer of Art 2014 - the new blog of a high school friend and art teacher. She's spending the summer looking at and writing about art - currently while vacationing, but normally in Chicago. Her writing is beautiful and the art she's sharing isn't half bad either. ;)

My second article - Anchors Away at the Norcal Pirate Fest - was published over at The Outsider this week! I've been busy running around and working on Monkey business during the very short holiday week and this blog was sparse. I promise this coming week will be full of art!

Oops! I wrote this yesterday, but obviously didn't post it! Here's my second week in review!

Today I'm inspired by Pouyan Khosravi who I discovered in an IRC chat room. His beautiful mandalas and artwork are truly inspirational. The rich colors and intricate patterns are beautiful! If you like these, you should click over to his website where he has many, many more.

I love to shoot still and moving pictures at the Albany Bulb and come here regularly. I love the sculptures made from found materials, the ever changing graffiti, and the gorgeous views of the bay surrounded by indigenous plants. Here are some photos that I've taken since my last post.

I have a planted, freshwater aquarium that I'll probably never share after looking at the stunning tanks featured over at Little Green Corner. These are truly inspiring works of living art.
