Exploring The Wildflowers of El Cerrito

This week I'm still exploring close to home! At the head of the Ohlone trail behind our place is a beautiful wildflower area. The first time I took pictures here was years ago and I met the gardener. He's an older gentleman and was knowledgeable about photography and we had a lovely chat. I asked him how many people helped him maintain the area and he replied that he worked alone. The area has tripled in those years and we have a gorgeous garden to enjoy. It's a pretty sweet deal for apartment dwellers. If any botanical gurus would like to help me name them, I'll update this post!
