I love the celebration of textures, patterns, and colors that delight the eye when visiting Chinatown. Chinatown Pretty is a blog that "celebrates the street style of seniors living (and grocery shopping) in San Francisco’s Chinatown". I especially love the close up shots showing the details of each outfit.

Zaluska Art has created a beautiful video showing bubbles freezing; ice crystals forming over their surfaces, the video is a chilly reminder of winter's touch.

Chema Madoz creates surreal images with her camera. Simple still lives with layers of symbolism. Portraits that reveal more than the person. Her website is in Spanish, but even if you can't read it, there are many more images to check out.

Union Point Park is on the West side of Oakland right across from Coast Guard Island. My favorite part is a walkway that spirals up and has a stylized compass at the top with amazing views.
