My week was exciting! I went sailing on the bay with First Exposures and we also went to check out the area around the Exploratorium's old building. I can't believe I've never been there - it's gorgeous! I'll post pics from this adventure over the next couple of Tuesdays…
I was inspired to dig out an adaptor I was gifted years ago with a bunch of 16mm movies. Curious to see what gear I might be able to use with my Nikon lenses. I've had a Nikon since my undergraduate days and a recent donation from my friend Carrie doubled the glass I have to play with. It turns it's an auto tele converter gives me double the zoom! I've been having fun playing with it. Here are a couple shots from Wednesday evening when I hooked it up to my all time favorite 105mm lens.
I can see this cool wind sculpture by Jonathan Russell and Saori Ide from my desk. We can see a different one from our living room window.
This is just a vent from the roof next door.
I didn't have an article published at The Outsider because I made a huge mistake with the sound for my project - boo! I finally asked for help after days of struggling (stubborn me) and the article should go live some time in the next few days.
