On June 5th I'll be participating in Reset the Net. This is one way, as an individual, I commit to a secure, accessible web. This site utilizes HTTPS and HSTS to ensure privacy and security for readers, shoppers, and tippers.
I believe in the power of the internet to educate, share, and entertain. I believe that unrestricted access to the internet is a right. As a country dedicated to freedom of person and expression, we should lead the global community in net-neutrality and access. Fewer ISPs that control content through profit margins is exactly the opposite of what we stand for as a country.
Reset the Net is sponsored by:
Fight for the Future is dedicated to protecting and expanding the Internet's transformative power in our lives by creating civic campaigns that are engaging for millions of people. Alongside internet users everywhere we beat back attempts to limit our basic rights and freedoms, and empower people to demand technology (and policy) that serves their interests. Activating the internet for the public good can only lead to a more vibrant and awesome world.
Center for Rights works to advance the new power technology gives us to improve our own lives and the world. We believe that heightening the public's understanding of this new power and giving people tools to act is the best way to defend and expand it.
