These photos are from my first trip exploring Grounds for Sculpture with my friend Di.
Exploring Grounds for Sculpture
Grounds For Sculpture was founded by the sculptor Seward Johnson who is known for his lifelike bronze sculptures. Many of Sewards sculptures are featured throughout the beautifully maintained gardens. You'll have to wait for pictures from my other visit for those.
Seward is by far not the only artist represented. And exploring Grounds for Sculpture is an adventure for all ages. The gardens are gorgeous and ach statue has complementary landscaping. Once again, I'm exploring with my Holga DSLR, so the pictures are more artsy and less documentary. I've linked each to a gallery on the website where you can see much better the beauty of each piece and how nicely the gardens are.

Visit
I've been twice now and can't wait to go back. Easy trails for walking that wind you through hundreds of permanent sculptures. The onsite museum features touring exhibits, so each visit is unique.
I got free passes through my libraries museum program that allowed me to bring up to three guests.I have an entire second visit of photos to sort, so come back next week if you want to see more.
The lens
I truly do love this Holga lens for my DSLR. Mine's the Nikon version, but they make it compatible for most bodies. I like having the dreamy Holga look with the convenience of DSLR.
Full disclosure, I'm trying something new over here to see make some extra cash. This is an affiliate link.
