Last month I went to The Exploratorium for the first time with First Exposures. Wow! What an amazing place. We spent the better part of a day there and didn't even scratch the surface of the cool exhibits they have. I especially enjoyed the optical illusions, photography based exhibits, and their sculptural zoetropes. I could sit in the giant pinhole and watch the water all day. It was a day full of elements:; watching ice freeze and fog being created was mesmerizing. Hopefully, I'll get chance to visit again soon!
My favorite lens -- again and again.
I really like the poetry of this machine that is slowly destroying itself.
A fragmented selfie.
A beautiful visual representation of the ebb and flow of the tides.
There are other photos of this piece and a couple more outdoor exhibits by The Exploratorium in this post.
