This week's random journal page features a poem called "She Was Waiting to be Told". This collage was created after finding about a couple of my friends who had traumatic childhood events. The stomach is actually a transparency and can cover either side of the collage.

This week my sketchbook page again has cut up Sister Nagster scripts for the text.

Skulls by Jim is truth in advertising. Jim makes ambrotypes and sculptures. They're gorgeous and often using unconventional materials, but always the image is a skull.

This pastel drawing from one of my sketchbook is on facing pages is my silly way of simulating sex in a book. I especially like the slight transfer of the images that has happened over time.

This is the first time I've featured make up art on my blog, but I'm in love with the work done by Battledress and just had to share.

Delicate porcelain is the perfect material to create babies as millions of twee figurines prove, but Johnson Tsang's are a far cry from the Precious Moments of my childhood. I love the quirky expressions and the titles imply that the images reflect family dynamics.

I absolutely adore the series Rites of Passage by Winnie Troung, These gorgeous drawings are soft and the line work is intricately detailed. Also, I would love to have a cool skull hairdo!

Kate MacDowell makes gorgeous hand built ceramics using anatomical and botanical elements that are combined to create surreal forms that exist in dreams. I especially love the glow cast by her lit up
