With the tag line, "Bohemian modern style from a San Francisco girl", SF Girl By Bay is one of my favorite blogs and I never miss a post.
Editor Victoria Smith has impeccable taste showcasing design, fashion, art and travel together in beautiful well curated photo graphs.
Photos from recent post in the "Vintage Finda for a Modern World" series featured stylist Marcus Ray.
One recently featured artist is Jennifer Collier who creates masterpieces out of paper inspired by fashion. She sews, stitches and creates fashionable faux fabric designs and three dimensional objects.
The contributors are amazing, but I'm especially partial to Danielle Grysa, The Jealous Curator. She is witty and her Girl Crush column is pure eye candy. This week she featured Emily Barletta whose breathtaking work is filled with colors textures depicting organic microsopic forms.
Last month she was greeneyed over Inge Jacobsen and I couldn't agree more. Childish, fashionable and subversive these altered magazine images really intrigued me.
Here are some highlights from a studio visit to Lisa Congdon's inspiring space. What a great place to create art and her art is cheerful and fun too.
Sunday Streets is a regular series of photographic tours that are predominately of beautiful San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area, but also gorgeous photo journals of Victoria's travels. Check out her recent trip through my old neighborhood.
I love Halloween and this collection was a treat!
And look at this collection of black and white beauties...
The site is modern and full of beauty and well worth a visit.
These photos are just a tip of the iceberg.
