Challenged to submit a Best of 2011 blurb I have been thinking about my accomplishes this year and thought I would share them here as well.
I started shooting my first feature film, The Path of the Forgotten, a feminist fairy tale.
I made 18 short, experimental films in 18 weeks including a cyanotype on 16mm contact print movie. I'll be posting more soon, but you can see a couple of the project galleries here and here.
Finished the binding the short run coptic bound book, La Sonámbula, including a few AP/handling copies.
Resolved the back of the short run accordion book, Día de los Muertos: coyuntura crítica, so it's ready for it's production run.
Continued the Book of the Week series. I have two books that need their endpages glued on today, but I'm closing out 2011 with 104 finished books!
The big success for this year was this site! Getting it upgraded, redesigned and actually populated with galleries of my work. I've also been bloggin more about artists that inspire me, blogs I follow and some of my journeys. There's more to come so stay tuned!
