Beachcombing

Instead of bringing stuff home from the beach, I decided just to take pictures of some of the rocks and shells. I'm stuck inside working today, but I would love to go chuck my shoes off again soon.

I took quite a few pictures of these beached aquatic plants. They had such a variety of strange textures.

Tendrils, roots and ribbons entwined in seaweed. Smooth cornered rocks still show their age in the depths of their crevices. Wibbly, wobbly squishy blobs. Broken shells, once homes, now just future grains of sand or treasures taken home by some other adventurer.

These were all taken on my excursion last year to Bolinas that I just posted about last week.
