I'm going for it! The 7th Annual 100 Day Project starts April 7th.
Even with my stuff in storage, I absolutely have the basics to create collages in my sketchbooks. And by basics, I mean most of my pens, colored pencils, and watercolor pencils. I also have plenty of glue sticks and a pair of scissors. Just a few supplies ;)
That means, once again this year, I'll be doing collages in my sketchbook.
7th Annual 100 Day Project
I expect this to be a challenge, as I'm sort of in need of making a new sketchbook. So I may have to take a day off collaging and show off the new journal.
I'm not 100% sure if I'll have a specific theme, or just generally go for the daily collage.
Last year, my collages were inspired by online handles of people I hang out with on the internet, but generally I was thinking about modern day myths and fairy tales.
Here are a few from last year.
let love remember splendored wish
soulmate angel
alluring like honey
breathe in woman flame
everynight, afterwork, i put on my secret identity and get lost in the darkness
Detail of the main figure.
our mad love with steamy breath
turns passionate as we embrace the full moon
always whisper nothing to speak many
true bewitching thoughts of amour
You can see more over on my instagram if you scroll back a bit to last April.
In fact, Instagram is the best place to follow my 7th Annual 100 Day Project. I always post studio pics and sketchbooks picks over there first. If you're not on Instagram, those pictures get posted to my art Facebook page, Twitter, and Tumblr.
